La revista nord-americana Newsweek ha publicat una edició especial per a recordar els 50 anys de la publicació del primer disc dels Beatles l'any 1962.

Amb el títol The Beatles! 50 Years Since The Music Started aplega en 98 pàgines un seguit d'articles, fotografies i infogrames que repassen el passat i el present dels Beatles. Els articles s'apleguen en 4 parts: els inicis, el grup, the mania, i el llegat, i està il·lustrat amb fotos més que interessant i d'alta qualitat (tot i que totes són ja prou conegudes pels seguidors del grup). L'apartat gràfic inclou també moltes reproduccios de memorabilia i altres elements interessants com un mapa del món a on situen els grups de versions més destacats, i una doble pàgina amb les gràfiques del temps que es va trigar a enregistrar i mesclar cadascuna de les cançons dels Beatles.

Entre els articles destaca una entrevista amb RingoStarr, el tribut d'un fan music com Billy Joel i una acurada discografia i filmografia oficial, a banda de tot un seguit de músics coneguts que trien la seva cançó favorita dels Beatles.
